To the Yellow Cab driver who wrote to my family after my Dad (fellow cabbie) died in January, and who also came to his funeral: I don’t know who you are, but I just wanted to let you know that every time I call a cab I wonder if it will be you who picks me up. We’ll probably never meet, but it makes me feel a little less alone and I really appreciate what you did.
Thanks 🙂
