Ahhh, the deafening silence of Tim Horton’s fans…
kay cups are not any better
Pick the litter up; put it in the bag – boom boom. Pick the litter up, put it in the bag – boom boom. Yeah – I’m old.
Seriously, in this city, it’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. Bitching about it ain’t getting that cup where it needs to go. Be the change you want to see in the world, OB.
I saw a guy toss his coffee cup on the floor of the bus the other day. I find littering so childish and lazy.
Throw your shit in the trash, people. What is wrong with you? Fuck
LOL, right now it is gonna get really bad. If it is bothering you, pick it up. I personally hate how people will leave “Dog Bombs”That is by far worse than a damn cup.
Prepare to be constantly screaming then.
I watched a guy struggle to deform his paperish plate to shove it into the plastic recycling hole of one of those multi-bin garbage units. 1 foot to the right was a perfectly shaped hole for paper waste, right next to that was one for organics. Even the 4th one, trash, would have been better.
Oh as this guy is in a master’s program at a university here.
If the energy spent being angry about litter were spent picking it up…wow this place could be breathtaking again. Teach the value of not littering to kids everywhere. Think it too dirty to touch? Would you pick up a twoonie off the ground? Sure you would, then you’d wash your hands. It is a great feeling to drive along the road and see you have cleaned it, and a great constructive way to physically work out your anger issues. Do you get mad at the slugs and weeds in your garden? No crop if you stand there and complain…get busy, motivate others ro help you!
