Life is like one of those moving screen Mario levels. You just don’t have enough time to do everything, and once you realized you passed something good, it’s gone. By the time the screen let’s you see the opportunities and perils that are right in front of you, you have to make a quick decision before you’re pushed into one. You can’t take a break. If you’re too eager and stick to the right of the screen, you’ll probably be hit with something. If you’re a chicken and wait to be pushed along at the left side, it’ll push you into something. Your only chance is to linger in the middle of the screen and hope your common sense and judgment calls are good enough to get you through. I know most people my age don’t have a clue what they’re doing either, but they just make it look so damn easy… —Can’t get past this LVL in life

  1. I hear ya, OP.

The grass always looks greener on the other side, but I don’t think you’d find one person who really has their shit together as much as we think they do.

I’m sure you’re doing the best you can 🙂

  2. o.p., if you think of life as a game, you are really fucked. both in life and in the head. life is not a game, but a big gamble. and everyday, you risk it all, just by going out the door.live life, not a fucking game.

  3. Life certainly IS like a game of Mario.

“Thank you Mario. But our Princess is in another castle!”

  4. After all these abductions, you’d think the princess would hire better security. She has Samus, Link, and Kirby available, why not hire them?
