I wished upon a star, on a cold April night. It asked for time with your heart, under sun’s light. With dislocated chance this wish fell to the ground and its urgency required for it to be painfully found. I really shouldn’t try to Right with my write for the risk. If I used my Left I might miss, choosing words to touch your face with a soft and gentle kiss. I wrote with my Right using keys and hurt a heart I wish to please. All I have Left, is pencil with a quest to wear my heart all out there on my sleeve. Will you be left, and right, with me? —Tuesday’s Leftovers

You’re not a poet, dearie
So please, my friend, stop trying.
I’d tell you it was awesome
but i don’t believe in lying.
Faint heart won’t win fair maid.
But neither will flawed meter.
(Though that you made it public
Makes it just a little sweeter.. )
Perhaps you play guitar
like an angel from above
so serenade your boo with
SOMEONE ELSE’S words of love.
Good luck to you my southpaw friend
who wished upon a star.
But just one last suggestion…
…just buy the girl a car.
yak
I stopped reading after “I” and will be going with zed’s tl;dr version of this love.
🙂 🙂
I, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed your post OL. One thing though, if I may. Those chance dislocations, make sure you have a professional help you pop it back into place and apply ice immediately. The swelling from the injury can cause extensive discomfort. So ice is a must.
