Trails of the HRM are lovely. I saw a bunny, a squirrel and a number of birds. I get it, bird watching… people love it. But when on a trail in bird watching packs of 10, 12,15 Stick to the right of the trail. Everyone has to use the trail and when you are all over the place cyclist can’t predict your actions. So don’t taking up the whole lane. — Trail Users

Yeah but it was a red-breasted nuthatch.
Right, because cyclists in the park are so polite. While walking on the right on the trail at point pleasant yesterday, a cyclist barrelled past me at full speed close enough to make me jump, would have run into me if I had put my elbow out to the side – he had the entire trail beside me to use. At least 8 feet to the left of me, and almost knocked me on my ass.
Fucker.
What I don’t get is that PPP has no biking on weekends or holidays. Yet some people can’t read the signs posted. The saddest part is that they probably live in the city and still have no clue to the rules.
Trails and side walks should be like roads. Stick to the right, so I won’t feel the need to maneuver in a down hill slalom style walk.
