Hey, so this bus strike sucks, huh? It sure is causing more traffic! I try to avoid it as much as I can during my commute to work, but some days I just can’t avoid it and need to drive by the entrance to the bridge on Wyse Rd in the morning. And every freaking time I have done so since the strike has started, some fucktard has blocked the fucking intersection. I approach from the North going straight through the intersection towards downtown Dartmouth. The people coming from downtown turning left on to the bridge just FILL the intersection even if there is nowhere for them to go. ESPECIALLY when the light turns yellow for them, they thing GOTTA GET OVER THERE, not realizing that they’re going to be stuck in the middle of the intersection blocking the traffic trying to get safely across. Not only is it stupid and rude, but it’s actually illegal, so to everyone, pay a bit more attention and stop fucking doing it, ok? —Just Trying to Get to Work

Yeah, that really steams my clams, too, OB. Especially when the person blocking you kind of holds his hands up in the ‘I can’t help it’ gesture.
Right. You can’t help being a fucking asshole?
not much forethought involved
OP, you must understand what you’re asking. You want people to pay attention, follow the rules AND be considerate. That’s to much. It seems like fools only have 2 braincells, 1 for debauchery and the other to maintain basal levels of functioning.
Your requests are 3 things too many for ppl to handle … …
I wonder what travel is going to be like in 50 years …
We have to get over the oil hump first though … :/
yeah it sucks, but funny too. didya hear about the bus getting cracked by the garage door? seems the poor buses are being neglected, and not taken out for proper exercise. here’s an idea, m.t., go the fuck back to work, and they will get all the fucking exercise they need then. what a bunch of fucking maroons.
Hydrogen fuel cells, Donk. All the way.

Although still just a concept, it’s not far from being a full production model. And it’s pretty cool. (Saw this on TV not long ago). The actual body and cabin of the vehicle is all modular. You want a pick up truck or a mini-van or a sedan? Simply unbolt the car body, disconnect the wire harness, lift the body off and swap it with one of your choice. They all fit and run off the same drivetrain and fuel cell layout.
Best of all, the hydrogen is extracted from sea water and when it is used in the vehicle, the only emissions is water vapour. Absolutely no pollutants and no relying on fossil fuels or costly, heavy and dangerous batteries.
that’s what the new stealth U-Boats use to get around…
hydrogen based engine along with batteries so that there are no moving parts for energy.
no moving parts = no sound and they can cruise 28 or so knots.
frakkin crazy, those pesky germans.
OP: I feel your pain. Instead of fucking around with that intersection, turn around, take Faulkner st or Dawson st down to Windmill rd, then take a left and drive under the bridge and pop up at the intersection of Windmill rd and Wyse rd. It will probably take less time and I can’t see any reason why you would be forced to go through the bridge intersection unless you are heading to the sportsplex.
The Germans were experimenting with Hydrogen peroxide propulsion at the end of the war. The Brits and Americans played around with it but found the fuel too volatile for safe use.
The Germans are now pioneering air-independent proulsion:

The submerged endurance of nukes without the nasty fear mongering of the chicken little crowd. If it was really necessary for the R.C.N. to continue with a submarine capacity, this is what we should have invested in. Not 4 British bathtub toys that seem to be able to only do half of what a sub is suposed to do.
Hay, Jean Poutine. I know you and the Lloyd Coxworthy crowd couldn’t give a fuck about our military; but did you really hate them THAT MUCH?
all I know is I watched this yesterday and it was effing amazing:

Hydrogen fuel cells. How do you break apart the hydrogen and oxygen atoms to get said fuel for the cells? Heat. How do you get heat? Burn fossil fuels. You get nothing for free, hydrogen is no exception.
@Bullet –Actually hydrogen is broken down by electricity. So solar & wind powered homes (like my neighbor) could essentially provide cheap clean transportation.
Avasto…what happens to the salt ? It has to go somewhere if you are using salt water .Perhaps it is flushed out of the system by the exhaust which is ….H20
But seeing we are in Canada with a majority of the worlds fresh water, we don’t need to use salt water .~;)
