What’s up with the way women are dressing these days? Tights worn as pants? Skimpy shirts and their stomach hanging out over their clothes that are way too tight in the first place? Men and cross dressers dress better than women. And other thing ladies, SHOWER!!!—Turned off!

OP I’m with ya, for the most part. The summer stench … here’s a thought … don’t wait until you smell rotten to have a shower. I’m not sure what the aversion to H2O is all about …
I just finished a laugh over a lady with a short dress and she hiked up the strap on her purse and the skirt went up with it. She continued along with one ass cheek out in the morning sun! ~ This was amusing 😉
lol the no showering is probably due to the fact that it takes some of these ladies hours to do their hair and make up. Not making excuses for them at all.
At least most seem to have figured out that the whole muffintop thing was really unappealing for their fatass body type.
You weren’t on SGR last Saturday Cranky. MooseKnuckle season started early this year, with no bag limit, if you take my meaning.
OP, I think that’s what these women refer to as “Slut Walk.” Or at least that’s their justification for dressing as sluts and tramps. As for fat chicks, they think “If it stretches, it fits.”
I have to agree OP.
Look at it this way…a woman’s attire is just advertising for the level of class contained within.
As for showering, both genders are equally capable of underestimating the frequency required. Here’s a hint: if you don’t shower every day (or at least spongebath your smelly bits-with soap and water), you aren’t doing it enough. Deodorant is a must.

as a kid I could never understand why i had to bathe and shower so much…
now as an adult I can’t understand why someone WOULDN’T.
granted, kids don’t mind stinking and getting mucky…
but adults? you’re not getting mucky, you’re marinating in your own sweaty stench.
Then there are the fat, sweaty men…especially the ones who insist on taking their shirts off. ALWAYS fun.
A lot of new fashion caters to extremely skinny people and should NOT be worn by most women. Also, most women don’t seem to know how these trends work.
OP is talking about “The return of the dreaded crop top”.. which is a great example of trends being misinterpreted. CROP TOPS CAME BACK BECAUSE HIGH RISE JEANS CAME BACK.
If you don’t wear high rise jeans, do not wear crop tops.
Also, ignore the sizes on the labels. EXAMPLE: Usually I choose a medium size t-shirt but each shirt is not made equally which means sometimes I’m extra small, small or even large.
It’s confusing and I feel women’s pain because I am close to the target size (5″8 120 lbs) and still have difficulty finding clothes.
Take your time and when in doubt SIZE UP.

Yeah I saw this guy begging for change on SGR a little while ago who looked an old, fat, homeless MacGyver and decided to do so sans shirt. It was not a pleasant sight.
Fashion is like a Dog-sledding, if you’re not the lead dog, you’re just chasing after a bunch of assholes.
Agreed, put some clothes on ladies. And yoga pants are for yoga, they aren’t appropriate for day use.

OMG i dont understand these people!! I am 5’7 and 130 lbs and i still have a hard time going out in public with shorts on and tight tank tops even though i have absolutely nothing to worry about. I know its good to be confident in what you wear but I’m sorry I just don’t want to be out enjoying my day and see your belly fat or nasty cellulite thighs in tiny tight tops and short shorts. Dress to impress.
Also i can’t even go 1 day without taking a shower!! Also I’ve only been living in Halifax for 2 weeks now and i’ve noticed that a lot of people, women and men, have poor hygiene! I don’t understand it!! I need to shower and put deodorant and perfume on before i leave the house!! ITs not about trying hard and always looking 110% but at least shower, brush your hair and teeth please.

that’s quite the stretch for folks to abide by….
just think though, their lower standards make you look all the better… and with no additional effort involved whatsoever.
I think the smelliness is from the constant humidity. showers are nice but if you sweat from the moment you get out of them, you’re screwed in an under hour unless you’re axe’d/perfumed to mask.
Most of my shirts are longer than the ‘dresses’ girls are wearing these days, it doesn’t even surprise me anymore to see an exposed butt cheek in the middle of the day on Spring Garden Rd. Pure class.
I wonder where they’ll be in 10 years.
