I work with a lot of lazy ppl. The better the work ethic is,the more the management puts on you. The other ppl. there *should be* just as capable as me – they have the same previous job experience and passed the same interview. Why is it ok that they slack off and more work gets piled on me because “I can get it done well” – fire their asses!

  1. If your boss is putting work on you because you can “get it done well” then your hard work is being noticed. If you are not getting rewarded for that in some way soon (raise, promotion, etc) then you may want to consider finding a job where your work ethic is not only noticed, but respected and rewarded as well.

  2. If ya can’t beat ’em….and you won’t. Laziness permeates in every working environment and chances are you will quit before any of them suddenly discover their work ethic. So relax. take your time doing shit and what doesn’t get done may alert management to who’s doing all the work.

  3. Hard work is usually rewarded with more work and few, if any, rewards. Most of the time it’s just not worth it. More naps and masturbation breaks are the order of the day for you, my friend.

  5. If you’re really doing that much more work than they are, it’s being noticed and you’ll be first in line for more responsibility… which should come with some form of reward.
If not, well you’re only worth what you bargain for.
I’d try to get more vacation time instead of more money, what with the times being a little rough.

  6. That’s how the work world rolls. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. That’s what I did. I learned quickly. Anything assigned to me was completed and turned in before deadline. Then, I got a new assignment.

Now, I complete my work as quick as usual (most times) and turn it in when it is due. Sometimes I even ask for an extention. Works great this way. More “me” time.
