Ok. I can not stand when I see someone park in the handicapped parking space with a handicapped pass, get out, and have nothing wrong with them except obesity. You are taking a spot from someone elder who may not be able to walk as well or someone in a wheel chair. People actually need these spots for a reason they are not for your laziness. And shame on the doctors or whoever provides these for the lazy people. They need to get a gym pass instead! —notsolazyhaligonian

  1. Being handicapped is not always obvious, you judgemental twit. I need two full knee replacements but you’d only notice if you saw me walk a few hundred feet – I am in pain from the time I step outside my vehicle until I step back in. I am not obese but you’d probably think I was a fraud too.

  2. I don’t recall seeing the designation MD after your name?
    Perhaps it’s Moribund Dickhead?

  3. And perhaps the driver is picking up the person who is handicapped. I know I have. So before spouting off, get your damned facts straight.

  4. Like it or not, obesity is a health condition. More importantly, there are a number of comorbidities typically attached to people who are morbidly obese. Maybe the person can’t walk far without having a serious asthmatic attack or something. Maybe their comorbidity makes run-of-the-mill exercise routines (such as those obtained via a gym membership) infeasible and unsustainable. Maybe the person needs specialized one-on-one training, but they can’t afford it. Sometimes individual problems are far more complicated than pure laziness.

  5. Wow. You are clueless, OB.

I could bitch you the fuck out, but I’m too lazy.

So I’ll just call you an asshole.

  6. Sometimes, people use these passes because they’re using the handicapped peron’s vehicle. Not so nice.

  7. maybe the driver has emphysema OP. there are many ‘invisible’ disabilities or health conditions that would warrant a shorter walking distance pass

  8. I have spinal arthritis. I’m not overweight in the least but I don’t have a handicap pass for when i DO have pain. Want to know why? Because of judgmental fucktards like you jumping to conclusions and ruining my day.

Or would you just accept that maybe my disability isn’t immediately visible because I have a slim waist?

I agree, “Fat” shouldn’t be enough to get you a handicap pass. But oftentimes handicapped people (especially those who became handicapped in adulthood) gain weight because they can’t exercise like they used to and they don’t adjust their eating habits to match their new metabolic situation.

  9. Irrepesprctive of the fat-isn’t-a-disability argument, being fat is considered a disability by law and therefore they get a parking tag.

Maybe your bitch is bigger than the person of whom you bitch?

  10. My fiance gets this every once in awhile. She has MS and has trouble walking on anything but perfectly straight ground. I have to hold her hand basically wherever we go so she doesn’t fall, she is trying very hard not to be delegated to a wheel chair. Unless you know all the facts, you people need to shut the fuck up.

  11. You are such a judgmental piece of crap! You can’t always see why a person is handicapped, also you can’t always tell why a person is the size they are.. there are many different things that cause people to gain weight and someone of those tings also can cause someone to be handicapped..

  12. Brandon.. I don’t know anything about MS really so you can tell me to shove it if you want to. But i know that in my case, my backbone and neck being in so much pain has caused major muscular malfunction. They’re always strained and pulled, working in ways they weren’t designed to to compensate. And you know what has really helped me? Martial arts. Not the high impact “external” kind but the internal kind. Like tai chi. (Yes. It’s a martial art and a deadly one)

Look into two men. One is named Steve Oliver and he does tai chi practice for sick or injured. The other is named Yau Sun Tong and he is the best in atlantic canada. He’s tough and wants to produce athletes but will allow people to adjust for pain or need.

Both of those men saved me and i owe them a lot.

I don’t know if this is good for MS. Only the doctor can tell you that. But I DO know that moving keeps you moving. And it is healthy if done properly. Tai chi is low impact but powerful and reduces stiffness, increases balance and is fucking fun as hell.

Look into it. My doctor told me to look forward to a wheelchair-bound future. That was years ago and i’m better now than i’ve been in years. I need no wheelchair and refuse to give in. So i understand. She’s tough and you should hug her extra hard tonight for being the fighter she is.

  13. I was disappointed when I read the bitch but I’ll be damned, the comments actually improved my mood to show that for every fucking idiot such as yourself, there’s at least 15 other people that are intelligent enough to know better and call you on your shit.

  14. This bitch has to be fake. OP. You must be two people. Because one person cannot be that stupid.

  15. Can I say that I meant to say “person”. I wasn’t speaking of the former president of Argentina. I can understand if there was some confusion there. Carry on.

  16. It’s a fact of life, fellas. When you have husky boys, and doughnuts all in the same place you’re just asking for trouble.

  17. Has it ever occured to you, that the obese indivudual’s you are referring to, may be parked in the Handicap Parking Space because they are picking up someone who has the precise disibilty that is more visual to you.

  18. crayons, was that you uni-wheeling down wyse rd other night? the guy at kfc almost swallowed his teeth.
