Just so everyone knows… when a rich pop star leaves a tip of $500, it is just a publicity stunt. $500 to her is like someone who makes $50,000 a year leaving 50 cents. When I heard she left a big tip on the news I was thinking in the ballpark of 10 grand or higher, than they said $500, and I was thinking “that’s it?”
People, everything that pop stars do in the PUBLIC is for PUBLICity! Also I am convinced that J B’s current antics are just what his PR team wants him to do, to give him a “bad boy” image, so people don’t think of him as a tween pop star anymore. —Stop letting the radio stations pick your music for you

Phhhht. Next you’ll be telling us that Bono doesn’t pay personal income tax while hectoring Western leaders on how they should be spending ours.
You think most people leave tips for anything OTHER than publicity?
A $500 tip is awesome. I’m guessing, op, that math isn’t your strong point so i’ll help you out here a little. These people are always attending public events. And leaving huge tips at all of them. You’re acting like this is the only tip the person has to give in a year. Imagine leaving a $50.000 tip everywhere you go, sometimes two or three times a day. Think a little more 4th dimensionally..
I am sure that the person who got the $500 tip thought it was big.
go back to your manger, you dog.
lol so because he has money he should be leaving $10 000 tips. OP would probably be the first to make a joke if this guy went bankrupt.
So? Who cares?
I mean that in the sense of – why is it so bad that both sides benefit from something like that? People bitch when a business benefits from the publicity after giving money to a charity (who obviously benefits). Ok. So had that company done nothing, they wouldn’t benefit from the attention and the charity would have nothing. Then there’d be nothing to bitch about? Oh, I’m sure there’d be something… for some people, there’s always something stupid to bitch over.
Whoever that celebrity was could have left nothing. Instead, she left $500. Good on whoever it was!
OMG thanx sooooo much for letting me know!
What a funny lil life you must lead, op, to be bitching about this.
Umm, that’s what people in the public eye, do- look for publicity.
Even so, it was an $800 meal, I’d say $500 is more than generous. That’s a little more than 62%, isn’t the standard 15-20% ?
I’m not one to even remotely bother with ‘pop stars’ and their status…
but beiber really needs to drive his Ferrari full on into a pole.
