To the two individuals using sign language on the buss to ridicule myself and my friend for whatever petty reason): Your language is not subtle.
Any one that speak another language and decides to use it to be cruel in front of someone that barely understands places you near the top of shittiest people to live. —Pissed off commuter

Two women in their late 30’s or early 40’s, taller one blonde, and the other with short or shaved hair and a walking aid? I had the same thing happen to me years ago.. don’t speak sign, but I understand body language. Paying attention to the body language of people speaking languages other than English in public will quickly dissolve any delusion you might have of all these cultures and peoples mixing like anything other than oil and water.
Next time, just roll your eyes, then check your fingernails. Not worth an iota of your consideration.
OB, People who spend a lot of time mocking others are very insecure themselves. They project their self-loathing onto others. They are also cowards at heart and these folks on the bus would have turned to jelly had you confronted them. I remember once when a guy yelled an insult at me from a distance when I was out jogging. Later on, I came face to face with him again and he was suddenly stunned into silence. His friend looked at him and said, “I bet you feel stupid now don’t you.” Enough said!
Not that it would have been polite either but you could have used a bit of sign language ‘lingua franca’ and given them the middle finger. That seems to send a message in many languages. Again, not polite but would get your point across to them.
^^^ and you could have fun with it. Just look in their direction and scratch your chin with your middle finger.
I would just sit there and lick my eyebrows…
That’s funny, deaf people make fun of you and they don’t even know how stupid you sound.
I think I sat next to the same 2 women today. I think the one lady wanted to wait until the sun went down and all the people to go home, then she was going to shove her fist up my arse so bad that it would make my eyes pop out of their sockets.
But of course, I don’t speak sign language so I could be wrong.
