My thoughts exactly. This guys looking to imprison someone. He’s off his fucking rocker if he thinks any sane person will want to live there.

I reported the guy to Kijiji several times. I also reported him to the Tenancy Board and am tempted to call the police non-emergency line to report him as well. This guy is a total whack-job and should not be allowed to rent out any spaces at all. He’s breaking who knows how many rules/regulations of the tenancy board, privacy act and protection of property act. Please, anyone who looks at this ad, scroll down the page and on the middle right portion of the page click on the Report as Fraud/Scam/Offensive link.

I hope it was a fucking joke!!! It sounded like he was trying to start a cult, and honestly anyone who would actually live in a place like that must want to join one!! I’d love to see that pastor TRY to take my contraband from me on Friday after a long week of work, and then fine me $1000 bucks on top of that!!!LOL

This (albeit if it weren’t fictional) place would be perfect to store people you’d like to dispose of. No-one in their right mind would ever even WANT to see this place.
I’m surprised they didn’t include that the id bracelet is also a dog shock collar and you can’t leave the apartment from 6pm to 8am.
And they contradict themselves when they list tobacco as contraband because the smoking fine in the next section should then be minimum $1 K.
Sweet Zombie Jesus! That one got me good! It had me totally freaked out! Organized religion scares me enough as is, but this sounded like the beginnings of a cult! The worst part was that I could totally see something like that happening here! Sure glad I didn’t call the cops. Whew!

I can’t see that being real. No “god-fearing” christian I know would ever refer to themselves as “god-fearing”.
Sadly, the $20/degree of heat thing might catch on with real building owners.
PDG: one of the guys I work with refers to himself as a “good, god-fearing, Baptist” on a daily basis. As you might assume, he’s quite preachy.

If the owner existed & you could convince him to rent you the space. You could then do what you liked & then have him charged in a REAL COURT OF LAW with violation of your rights under the Tenecy boards regulations.
