Not sure why someone thought it was okay to make a right hand turn into the left lane (I happened to be driving in) instead of making their turn into the right lane beside me like they are supposed to. Must be a Nova Scotia thing. Never seen it anywhere else, happens all the time here. —Hitting the brakes or hitting YOU

I call bullshit. There are shitty drivers in every city, and in every city the population complains about their drivers being the worst.
Same as the weather. You know the saying “wait five minutes and the weather will change”? That’s also not special to Nova Scotia.
No dear, that an Ontario thing.
not so CB… coming out of the Village, by the petrocan, onto Bayers, people in the right lane often try to cut me off by turning into left hand lane to get onto the highway…… oh and how I laugh and laugh when they’re forced into their correct lane….. also… a lot of time people don’t realize that they can turn on a red light there. it boggles my mind
My comment was meant to challenge the generalization, not the assertion.
Bayers Lake is notorious for drivers in a left lane turning right. I go to the 2nd Cup a couple of times a week & am thoroughly entertained by the bad drivers who scream through that intersection with all the driving skills of brain-dead moles.
Many drivers (in all cities and towns) are a little too confident in their driving skills, a little too cavalier in their lane changing maneuvers and with racing to make lights, a little too distracted by food, coffee, phones. If everyone focused on driving carefully, and only that, there would be a lot less chaos.
Re the issue of shitty drivers in this city vs. every city, I have two words: Que-bec….
“Must be a Nova Scotia thing”
You dink. Go home or at least sober up before posting things.
Where are you from? How long have you been here? Get used to it?
