To the lousy pet owners on the second floor of my building that let their baby kitten jump/fall off the balcony not once, but twice.. and then neglected to go look for it, leaving it battered, scared and hungry in the underground parking for a couple hours, or maybe even a couple days.. until two pet lovers found it, gave it some food and water and a comfortable bed to sleep in.. we posted found pet reports everywhere we could and still no answer, are you not worried about this little helpless baby you’ve left to fend for itself!? SHAME ON YOU! pets are a RESPONSIBILITY not just cute decorations.. you should be ashamed of yourselves..

To irresponsible pet owners: If you can’t deal with kittens/puppies, have your pet spayed or neutered. I know it can be expensive, but if you can’t afford to have it done, you can’t afford to own a pet! Either that or NEVER let it outside. Also, there are vets in the city who will spay or neuter at a discount if you can prove you make under a certain amount per year … you just bring in some pay stubs and whatnot. Call around, it’s not that hard.
Holy fuck, another god damned fuck face pet owner that doesn’t have a clue on how to take care of a pet. I hope those useless people don’t have kids or get them irradiated to prevent them from having progeny. Where are all these irresponsible pet owners coming from anyway. Has there been some sort of mass exodus from some hillbilly town and they are all showing up here. I hope they fall off the balcony, cry in agony and no one comes to help them.

I agree with geekchick – if you can’t afford to have your pets “fixed” then you can’t afford to get a pet in the first place. This isn’t just about overpopulation. Pets in heat are noisy and often a pain in the ass for the entire neighborhood.

Awww..this broke my heart. I agree with a previous comment, don’t give the cat back to those people! Put him or her up on Kijiji for a loving home or take it to a vet/shelter. Bide-Awhile doesn’t euthenize unless the animal is too ill so that’s a good bet.
These people should have their finger and toe nails removed with a can opener and then thrown off a 2nd storey balcony! I’ve had cats pretty much my whole life and I’ve always made sure that they are well taken care of. Some people just shouldn’t be allowed to be responsible for another living creature, be it pets or children.

It seems liek Halifax has the most cats per capita of pretty much any city I’ve ever lived in… I swear half the owners have never heard the terms “spay” and “neuter”.
