Waiting for the light to turn at the intersection of North and Windsor, I saw a most lovely scene. A young woman had dropped a big pile of important-looking papers all over the sidewalk and street and they were blowing all about in the wind. Several passersby stopped and helped her collect them all from both sides of the street! Even a couple of cars stopped (not endangering anyone) so that people could help pick up the papers. I was so impressed by the kindness of strangers. We really do live in a great city. —Windy

  1. That’s what I like about Halifax as well, Windy. In my home town, if someone dropped papers like that, people would just stand and stare. Then it would make the front page of our local paper ‘The Bugler’.
