Lays changed their ketchup chip flavour a few years back. Ketchup Lays use to be delicous, now they suck. Boo-urns to Lays ketchup!
Why would you eat that artificial potato-chip-like food product anyway? Might as well eat a bucket of salt-n-sawdust.
Alrighty, I actually (sadly) have some expertise in this area. I worked at a chip factory for a few summers, and so I can tell you that what you have been experiencing is purely coincidence. The person doing the seasoning must have gotten the portions wrong and your chips ended up being bland. It could be that if you are buying your chips from the same store that they are all coming from the same batch of chips. Palettes upon palettes of bland chips can be sent off without someone checking the chip’s flavor. Meh, it depends who is working.By the way, have you tried Humpty Dumpty Ketchup? I used to like lays but Humpty Dumpty is the way to go (especially Barbaque).
how come now one ever says ” as Canadian as ketchup chips”. My American friend still requests cases be shipped to her since they don’t have them down there. She visited here a few months ago and was hooked.couldn’t get her to eat a donair though oddly enough?
they don’t have smarties either….my sister moved to NYC andf none of her friends ever heard of smarties. I’m just happy the small boxes are coming out now for Halloween…cheaper to ship (-;
I remember hearing that about ketchup chips, I forgot we’re the lucky ones. I need to take a trip to the states sometime to figure out what I’m missing out on from down there. P.S. M&M’s are better then Smarties anyways
Try old dutch ketchup chips, they’re so ketchupy sometimes its hard to eat a whole bowl. Every chip is like the chip you get excited about in a bland bag!

That means I need to try two bags.I only get excited over a potato chip when I’m high. And it has to be an extra ketchupie wish chip. But I don’t get high anymore.

TTFN, my poor neglected friend. A wish chip is an orgasm in a chip bag. It is when a cheap if fried into a “u” shape, creating a double layered chip. The crunch is incredible.The only thing better is if you can find a kettle cooked chip that has been sliced thin enough sometimes the chip overlaps into three or more layers.I must go change my pants…
