This is to the loving mother cou(BITCH!)gh to Ronen, a sparky Russian Terrier I met after work today standing on the sidewalk on Young Ave. After 30 minutes wrangling both him (4 feet tall) and my own dog (1 ft?) I tried calling you, your vet, knocking on your neighbors door (in this Halifax wind no less) all while stepping through mud… All this, only to have you slam the door in my face without so much as a thank-you.

I understand that a stranger in your yard can be unnerving so I understood at the time, but maybe you could have returned the voice mails I left clearly stating my number, to give me some closure and maybe say… oh… I don’t know, thanks for not leaving my dog in the street to get hit? (something along those lines).

If anyone see’s a black Claudsdale on Young Ave, don’t worry, it’s all taken care of, his loving mother is inside not answering her fucking phone.—BeastWrangler

  1. She was probably just embarassed and / or didn’t know why you had her dog.

Why do you care so much?

  2. why do some people feel the need to have a fucking horse sized dog? and no doubt, it is kept in a tiny or small apartment. i hope to fuck these dogs turn on you, and eat you, you fucking deserve whatever you get, for keeping them penned up in a milk crate. and why do others have big dogs, not all for company, you know the creeps i mean, that like to sell shit to your fucking kids. this is just another case of being in a country, where you can’t solve your own problems.

  3. People are allowed to keep pets, LS. If I want to have a horse-sized dog, that’s my choice. I have a Siberian Husky, in a smaller flat, but I have a backyard, and I take her for walks everyday. Believe me, the dog is happy and fully obedient. I love dogs, but I could never own one of those tiny little Tea Cup dogs that you could go fishing for Sea Bass with. They’re annoying, loud, and useless. At least my Husky is a part of my family.

To the OP, so in this Halifax “wind”, you must mean that nice breeze that’s barely good enough to dry clothing in, right? While it’s great that you returned the dog, you really should realize that the owner doesn’t owe you shit, and your words belie your attitude that you feel you should have gotten a reward. I really doubt that she “slammed” the door in your face, you probably got a nice “thank you”, when you wanted a big fat cash reward, huh?

  4. Why do people doubt that the OP is telling the truth? I believe that the woman she returned the dog to COULD have been a bitch. Some people are ungrateful.

In addition, Dr. Fever, why do you put “wind” in quotes? I don’t know about you, but this city is fucking windy when it wants to be, and it particularly had been in the last week on occasion. In fact, if it wasn’t for the wind, I don’t even think winter would be as cold as it normally is.

  5. winter would be cake here if it weren’t for the harbour gusts…
especially around that bloody maritime centre

  6. there are a few crazy spots for wind…citadel high is very gusty and if you go to get a passport watch out. i love weather…beats the altenative

  7. yeah, I was walking along the commons last night, friggin windy as hell.
barrington can be a wind tunnel at duke and at the maritime centre…
on the water is self explanitory…
and I’ve never felt almost blown over like I did on brenton and southpark…
that building always blast you walking by.

who the fuck designed this crazy city?

  8. mole men…sorry couldn’t resist. bay/bloor was always a good spot for knockdowns

  9. The reason I put in quotes jdp21, is because complaining about the wind in this city is like complaining about all the French in Montreal. Besides, there was nothing more than a breeze last night. Unless, perhaps you were wandering downtown.

The reason why I suggest that the OP is being less than reasonable is because of the tone of the bitch. The OP deserves closure? Honestly, did they just do the right neighbourly thing or did they complain about how they got nothing out out it? I think I’ve proven my point.

Good manners have to be shown by both parties.
