What is with all the Karma talk on this site lately? This is getting ridiculous. Half the people bitching here are saying Karma is going to get the people that have offended them.
Can we lay off the hocus pocus stuff here and stick with the facts please?

I have seen karma happen. It’s like revenge, only it seems to come from some superior being – like when the girl who was hell to live with and made everyone miserable suddenly gains a lot of weight. You have to be careful though, to not bask in the glory of karma too much – otherwise it’ll get you back again.

What bugs me is that most of the people who spout this “karma will get you” crap, don’t even know what karma is.
It is not a cosmic revenge for asshats who do bad things to you. It’s a belief that whatever you do in this world, both positive and negative, will be carried forward into your next incarnation. You have to believe in reincarnation to also believe in karma.
I intend to come back as a turtle fart.

At least I’ve seen some form of Karma in action when I was in High School; a guy picked on me quite a bit thinkin he was all that… A few days later he ended up with a bloody face and I didn’t lift a finger.

I’ve seen that sequence play out with people who have done me wrong too, Mind Snap. Not sure if it’s a form of instant karma or the negative energy of the abusive person producing negative results.

Thanks toots. There’s also Buddist, Sikh and Jainist karmic beliefs. I’m a believer of the old ‘do unto others…’ and staying positive in the face of negativity. Life’s too short to dwell on bullshit.

Karma is easy: If you treat people like sh*t, generally, they’re not going to thank you for it. You don’t have to wait until the next life – if you believe in such things – to grasp the concept that actions have consequences.
I think LTWWB forum should have a feature that redirects posters who use the word “Karma” to the Wikipedia page on Karma so they can educate themselves on how to use the word properly.
