One thing that’s really starting to piss me off is how bicyclers always bitch about the road and how they have a right to the road just as much as vehicles blahblah, yet I see TONS of them on the sidewalks.
Kinda hypocritical, isn’t it? They’re bitching at cars for not following the rules, yet as far as I’m aware they’re not supposed to be riding on the sidewalks. So, if you’re going to condemn someone for not following the rules, why don’t you follow them yourself?
(unless I’m wrong and they are allowed on sidewalks, but I am pretty sure they’re not).
I’ve almost gotten creamed three times in the past month by fucktard bikers with no consideration of the pedestrians using the sidewalk that’s meant FOR PEDESTRIANS!

No shit, sherlock.
I find the serious ones a actually use the road, wear helmets, etc. It’s mostly kids who use the sidewalk, sans helmet. I’d really like to know where this happens frequently. I really don’t see how a bike can traverse these icy sidewalks these days. Hm…
If the bikers cannot keep up with the automobile traffic then they should fucking walk. Easy comcept but then they would just get in your way by walking three abreast and try and push you outta the way….screwed either way!
OP here!
It happens all the time on Lacewood! And they were wearing helmets! And they weren’t kids! Whenever I’m waiting for a bus, minding my own business some dumbass on a bike goes speeding by.
I feel like putting a stick through their spokes.
Enough said, PK. Lacewood (especially the terminal) is full of meatheads. Problem is, if you put said stick in said spoke, you’d likely get shanked with a screwdriver. Your best bet is to hope they get nailed by a bus.
My question is what the fuck are bikes out on the streets period this time of year with the streets and sidewalks in the condition they are. I guess their life insurance is paid up and too chicken to commit suicide, so they get someone to do it for them.
Biking year ’round isn’t really all that bad. Snow storms suck but within a day or two its back to bare pavement and happy (such as it is) biking.
Biking on sidewalks is not allowed, but it’s kind of difficult to bike on the street when drivers are honking/yelling at you constantly. Sometimes I bike on the sidewalks to avoid the potholes and drivers. Yes, I wear a helmet, and if a pedestrian is coming along I get off the sidewalk and go around them on the road. And usually apologize even for that. So fuck off. When people make bicycling on roads safe, that’s when I’ll do it. As long as I’m getting out of the way when there’s somebody on the sidewalk, I don’t really see what the problem is.
