To the certain post-secondary school who granted me an interview in their recreation facility, while I thank you for the opportunity I’m puzzled by your unprofessionalism. If there are no plans to contact the unsuccessful candidates please do not set the expectation, repeating over and over that you will call and email when you plan on ignoring me just makes you look bad, especially if you mention how your “pet peeve” is management that fail to do so. Also if said expectation is set, please respond to emails and phone calls instead of ignoring them. I’m fully aware that I was not chosen for the position a month later but a response would’ve been nice. Secondly please refrain from snickering, rolling your eyes and whispering to your fellow interviewer when I answer your questions, if you’d like to mock me or giggle there’s plenty of time for that after the interview has ended.

So they snickered and whispered and giggled during an interview, but you expected professional courtesy?
Don’t get me wrong, OB, both parts suck ass, but in the grand scheme of things, I’d’ve followed up to their manager to report their unprofessionalism instead of leaving messages for *them*.
You should have asked to speak with the HR manager. Those little twats interviewing you would have shit three different shades.

In todays economy, a job interview is the same as saying “begging for a handout”.
OB, too bad yer not intelligent enough to have realised you were dealing with a bimbo/bozo & you should have got up from yer chair & walked out at the first snicker. I know you need a job. But just a glimmer of common sense would have told you ,that was a total waste of yer time !
