This bitch-jest goes out to the dumb POS that jumped out in front of my car last week on university ave at DAL, from behind a parked car, listening to his music on HEADPHONES. I take it you are trying to win the Darwin award? LISTEN, i stop at all crosswalks, but you can’t expect 3000lb of metal to stop on a dime. Use common sense, or next time i will have to use your damn nose as my hood ornament,

Scott does have a point. You can kill someone in a crosswalk and drive/walk away with a fine under $400…or if you’re a cop you can ignore all the crosswalk rules and blow past kids on their way to school with nary a demerit. Guessing that the law would be on our side vis–vis the jaywalkers.

I love the logical superiority that drips from Suzanna’s fingers. The hallowed halls and intellectual expansion that makes uni students above using common sense will also help them reflect – maybe with a pang of nostalgia – as to why the pins and plates in their femur aches every time it rains or gets cold for the next 60 years.
so they’re smart enough to get into uni, but NOT smart enough to remember what their mom taught them at age five- mainly to look both freaking ways before crossing the street? curious.no Suzanna, just because you enter a campus doesn’t mean all laws of god and man go out the window. traffic laws do still exist, and, gasp, they DO apply to pedestrians, even those being fleeced for tuition. more over, physics still exist. I don’t understand what’s wrong with peds in this city that they think a)they’re superman and are so freaking awesome a car will never hurt them, ever or b) they’ve clearly never driven a car, because they assume that at any speed, in any condition, at any time that car WILL and moreover SHOULD stop for them in an instant on their whim.listen: your little feet are a lot better at stoppign and starting quickly than my big car.
I do not even think it is illegal to run over pedestrians in this city, discouraged, but not illegal. If some one wants to be a fuck-tard and walk in front of a moving car let Darwinism take over. We need less stupid people procreating anyway. It is time to reshape the human gene pool.
