Your soggy gross kid eating a pudding without a spoon, hiding in the back of the bus away from you, wiping pudding in the gross fabric of the seats, then hiding said pudding cup underneath the seat in front, then you, the “parents” changing the diaper of your other kid… on the bus. Seriously. WTF?! Another lovely journey on the hell bound vehicle we call Metro Transit… to some people the world is just one giant garbage dump. —Helen of Halifax

Welcome to Hellifax Transit.
The parent is to blame; why insult the kid?
I wonder how many Metro Transit riders think: ‘What the fuck did I do in a previous life to deserve this!?’
no one holds a gun to your head and MAKES you get on the Public Transit.
Some people will say, Taxi’s are wayyy to expensive… pfft.
I say, stand up…. look down (some of you may have to look over your gluttonous mid-sections) and have a look for those things at the end of your legs…. see them? they’re called “Feet”. They’re free to use…. and can literally take you any/everywhere.
Are we seriously agreeing that it’s okay to change a diaper on public transit? That maybe people should walk if they prefer people didn’t change shitty diapers on a bus?
and this is ‘Love the way we bitch’ if we can’t call kids names here, then where?! lol I swear I didn’t tell the soggy gross kid that they were gross in person, and I doubt a 6 year old reads this column… but if they do, maybe they’re smarter than I thought and maybe they won’t be so fucking gross in the future.
ps. i also have no idea if that kid is actually 6 years old, maybe it was an old woman with that Benjamin Button condition (is that even a real thing?!), so in that case, she should know better than to cover the bus seats in pudding and stash her trash anywhere other than a garbage can, and anonymously venting about said person should be a-okay 😛
Helen, are you that dense?
Should we advocate for the abortion of children that don’t meet your standard?
Yes, this is LTWWB but as one of the nastier commenters here, I think children should be left out of the equation.
Buy a car.
I did.
Oh, okay… sure Helen. If you wish to back-peddle, so be it.
It does seem a bit irresponsible for both parents to be sitting together and leaving a six year old unattended with messy food. I also find it a bit dubious that so many people give their kids junkie food like suger-laden pudding as a pacifier. But really, the main problem here is changing a kid on the bus. That’s just a bit too much.
ttfb: every. single. day.
Last week my daughter and I were doused with pop that a kid was spraying all over the #60, using one of those spray fans you get at the dollarama. He and his sibling covered the entire backseat area in the sticky crap. The parents sat by and just watched.
Flowery-The-Flower, I don’t think that’s just the transit. These people are out in public so I’m inclined to say “Welcome to Hellifax” :p
Ah. The good ole Loser Cruiser.
