I’m sick of these fat people whining about how they can’t help but be fat. They blame it on genetics, and the overabundance of food in society, and on social pressures. I will address these in order:

1. genetics: some people are more likely to store calories as fat than others. That does not mean you are destined to be fat. You just have to work harder to keep the weight at a good level. So, stop bitching about it and adapt! Hit the gym!

2. Yes, food is overabundant. But the real problem is the fact that you are eating this overabundant food. Nobody is forcing you to eat it!

3. Thin people are considered sexy because they are sexier than fat people. Have you ever noticed that in Hollywood, the only fat female celebrities are stand-up comedians? Fat is not sexy, unless you’re a fetishist.

Shut up and lose weight.

Get to work!

  1. Losing weight is hard work. 99.999% of fad diets are pure bullshit. There is only two ways to lose weight and keep it off – exercise and portion control. Some people cannot make that commitment for whatever reason and want the easy way out. Well, newsflash – there is no easy way. I was 190 pounds in May when I started walking every lunch hour and it hurt like hell for about the first three months. With the help of an mp3 player, I worked my way up to about 5 miles a day. That, with portion control and the reduction of processed crap, helped me lose 30 pounds. It wasn’t easy, not by any stretch but I look and feel a lot better. Shit, if a lazy ass like I used to be can do it, anyone can. But it takes discipline.

  2. I agree with both of you, and good for you, Elbee! It seems like so many people WANT to be thin, but are too ready to settle for an excuse to be fat.

  3. One doesn’t have to aspire to a size 0. I’m size 14 and quite happy with that. I can eat pretty much what I want but in smaller portions so I really never feel deprived. It takes about 4-6 weeks for the body to adjust but it’s worth it. Some people just don’t have the patience to tough it out. And, no, I don’t eat those repulsive 100 calorie bags of cookies, chips, et al – the nurtritional value of that stuff is equivilant to a cardboard box.

  4. Hey that’s an insult to cardboard boxes Ellbee! ; ) Gratz on your achievement, not easy at all. Dietary changes are not easy here in NA where processed food is the norm.

  5. So, Get: go fuck yourself, and your ignorant opinion. Go find some anorexic, ill little twit to go around with. Heavy people have more pride.

  6. Bravo, its been awhile since we have seen some good old fashioned fat bashing in the old Bitch forum. I thought we would get back to it after all of that bike talk. I knew it was gonna be ripe soon, what with the talk of PJ’s and all. Have we talked about Crocs at all, lately?

  7. i have a friend who starts a new diet every week.. last time she says ” im starting this awsome diet tomrrow blah blah blah… can you hold on a minute” then she says ” cani have a big mac with coke”likewtf

  8. Oh yeah, I hear you, Cranky…gotta love that re-surfacing fat bitch. What bothers me though, are the girls who are wicked skinny, but constantly complain about how fat they are. It’s like: look bitch, you’re skinny and you know it. You can rock that outfit better than all of your friends, yet you’ll still complain about being ‘fat’ because you love hearing about how great you look. ‘DO I LOOK FAT?’ No, but you do look stupid, so shut your fuckin’ yap and eat a sandwich already.

  9. this is the first time, i agree with every comment beneath a bitch, as well as the bitch itself. bravo.my best friend has a thyroid problem and was very overweight, she spent the entire summer swimming, and walking (not even running, simply walking) we went four wheeling all summer, and ate healthy. I am so proud of her, b/c she lost almost 45 pounds, and kept it off.people just need to make the effort instead of complaining about their size.Also.. when skinny people ask you if they look fat..tell them yes they do. and then proceed to suggest running a few laps.

  10. Guys, if you’ve ever had an eating disorder or known someone with an eating disorder, I think you might be a little more sensitive to this issue. You have no idea.

  11. are you suggesting that there people don’t know anyone with an eating disorder?in my high school, one in every five people had an eating disorder.i knew quite a few people with eating disorders. I know two of them who overcame the disorder, and are now looking fabulous. therefore i have no pity on the rest. its not impossible to overcome it.

  12. I think what she means is that there are people that don’t realize that some of the people around them have eating disorders; and that leads to situations where they seem insensitive towards those people when in reality they just don’t realize the person is suffering.

  13. I have a very good idea, having spent my teens and twenties as a bulimic. That’s what psychologists are for.

  14. I just love listening to skinny assholes bitch about stuff like this then later on in life in a high school reunion they are tubby tuna!! and want to talk to you. loooooool. ever hear tell of metabolism? or perhaps the person doesn’t have the nutrition necessary?! walk in their shoes asshole or better yet see ya at the high school reunion in 25 years and your big beer belly gut hanging out!
