Maybe they misspell it on purpose so they will get punished when their master reads it.
Dear illiterate ‘whatever’…both words are spelt correctly. They are different parts of speech. Dominant can be an adjective as in “His dominant behaviour was a turn-on for her.” Dominate is a verb as in “He loved the way she dominated him.”If you’re going to expose your own ignorance like that again, you will be flogged.
Ummmm, Katz? He was specifically saying the “D” in “BDSM” stands for dominant, not dominate. Most grown people know that dominate and dominant are both words, but thank for reminding us.
what is BDSM?
google it.unless you’re at work.
i forgot my c in americanized ….can i still have sex??? especially bdsm!!
jane bdsm comes in various forms but mostly one mate rules the other in sex play..anything from bondage to whips to chains etc.
Dearest Katz, OP here….I am referring to to ads. that read: “Looking for dominate male…”, it should read dominant should it not?
The D in BDSM stands for domination, not dominant or dominate. The OP is right that in the context they’re referring to (as an adjective) it is dominant.

Ooops… sorry for the double post 😛
maybe someone should do a course on correct grammar for the BDSM crowd???? HMMM???
Any volunteers to whip ’em into shape?
The correct meaning of BDSM – Bondage Discipline Sado Masochism. BDSM isn’t just about domination but can also be a very interesting head space to let go of the daily worries.
im down for the donkey punch
Cyril – the ad posters are correct when asking for a dominant play partner, just as they would be in asking for a submissive one. The ad writer could also ask for someone to dominate him/her. All that matters is that they find someone (or several ppl) who can play by the Safe, Sane and Consentual rules.
