I mean with children starving, the homeless freezing and Nike shoes still churning them out it makes one pause for thought while living in the “Home of the free” especially during the holidays where the difference between the “haves” and the “have nots” is terribly large.My question to you is if we abandon becoming enlightened and doing something about the damage human beings have done to the earth in favor of “saving the children” today just what is the point? If those children never reach adulthood given the next “natural” disaster caused by man… it’s an “insert head in ass” approach and I agree with those who have posted here. Get an education. It may teach you not only how to express yourself with meaning but you might actually get a sense of the big bad picture.On the other hand, I’ve been seeing the same children starving and dying on my television screen for over 30 years despite whatever the Christian Children’s Fund does with all that money (wipe the kid’s nose for crying out loud! Build a fucking fishing rod for him or help dig a well… educate! Do something!) All I know for sure is 30 years later they’re still starving and need my money to survive in their God awful country. All I know for sure is that even as people reach in their pockets to help poor civilians of some other land we have our own share of homeless and most don’t even see them let alone reach in their pockets to help them… instead they come here and bitch about them and we eventually create laws to criminalize them.
