Ok, like everything good, once it becoems a little popular, google searches turn up thousands of stupid irrellevant or useless hits when I search for “Teach English in Korea” jobs. My partner and I want to look into teaching in Korea for a year or two so we can get ahead and get out of the Nova Scotia cycle or being dirt poor all the time. WHere should we look? Any suggestions or experiences to share? Anyone ever try this gig with a same sex partner?

Pick up The Coast, there are at least 2 ads every week for companies/organizations that set you up with teaching jobs in Korea. Here is one link to such organization:http://www.edunova.ca/teach-abroad/teaching-postings.php?lang=eng
Also, there is always the famous ‘Dave’s ESL Cafe’ website:http://www.eslcafe.com/
A friend of a friend, who is gay, said Korea is very closeted as being gay is illegal. So if you plan to go with your partner, be sure to keep affection to your apartment and away from open windows. But other than that, apparently it is a nice place.
I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly. People can do whatever they want as it is their choice to have any impact on their own life. That being said, do it in your own place. Don’t subject me to your stink, or line, or whatever else you may stick in your body. But, more importantly, don’t subject children to that kind of imagery. If kids didn’t see it on tv, or in magazines, or in movies, or in books then the allure would be that much weaker. Try to think of someone else.
WTF is this.. Two posters named Matthew or one with schizophrenia? Also OP this is a bitch column not a gay advice column. Try Dan Savage.
