To all the single and or live at home Mom’s who think that its a good idea to pack up your kids,(usually 3 -5 of them) and spend the day walking aimlessly around the grocery store…”Stay the fuck home!!” I work for a large grocery..err..Grocery/Daycare centre/Old folks home, in Halifax and believe me when I say…We dont want you there!!! All you do is bring grief to us..lots of it! I know, I know…”But there the ones who keep me imployed by buying groceries..right? Wrong! 16 boxes of no name KD and a bag of grapes doesnt keep me imployed. Its the people who really work for a living and buy 500 dollars of groceries every friggin week that provides me with a paycheck. Get off your fat, Pepsi and Dorito’s asses and take your kids to the park. Heres the kicker…its free! You dont have to buy a friggin thing and you know what that means..yep! More money for the VLT’s! Pathetic.

Sick of the screaming

  1. are you serious? Shut up…Who cares if they’re only buying one thing…yes it’s annoying, yes kids can be irritating, but fucking deal with it…If someone wants some no name KD and a bag of grapes, then they’re gonna go get em and they’re going to bring their kids with them.I just don’t see the point in this bitch…at all. You work in a grocery, that’s where people go to get food…Maybe they can’t leave their kids home alone or can’t find a babysitter…whatever.

  2. Wow. You need a life. I think every day should be Bring your kids to the Grocery Store day in honor of this very diligent, well spoken individual. By the way, for the record it’s “employed”. Also if you don’t like working there because of people who bring their children you should consider another line of work.

  3. id like to know which one you work at, just so i can bring both my kids and walk slowly around…get a damn life!Who do you think you are? You obviously do not have any children and have no idea what it is like to take children places, Some people do not have access to a babysitter or chose to raise their own children!

  4. I would also like to know where, specifically, you work and what your name is/what you look like. I’ll bring my 3 year old with me and drag my 9 months pregnant body around as fast as a three toed sloth and have YOU help me carry things and reach things. I cannot believe that you are so high and mighty that you cannot look past your own nose and see that people sometimes don’t have a choice. Do you really think we LIKE to bring our small kids to the grocery store? I can’t wait until you have to do it…..retribution for the rest of us. Get a life.

  5. Let me get this straight: moms or dads are supposed to get babysitters or put their kids in daycare when they go get groceries? Is that right? I dunno, back in my day kids were raised by their parents, part of which meant being carted along wherever they go.Guess times have changed.

  6. If I want to come in the grocery store with a cane or a quadruple stroller, and walk out with an 8 cent baggie of oregano 40 minutes later, that’s MY fucking business!I cant wait for my visit home in April, because since being pregnant I’ve had a major craving for some Kraft Dinner. They dont have it where I live so maybe I’ll bring an extra suitcase. I only wish I was making a stop in halifax and knew where you worked..because I’d bring my friend’s 4 kids along and really take my time.

  7. All are valid points. Everyone has a right to bring their children to the grocery store, being you don’t have a choice or not. However, if your kid is howling about and stomping their feet…NO ONE wants to hear that crap (the staff nor the customers) and you can’t defend this because YOU don’t like it either. Learn how to control your kids. Have respect for others. Don’t bring your kid IN to the store already crying…that’s just ignorant.
