So I don’t understand why you decide to ruin that experience for others by littering so carelessly like you do. I am talking to those of you who toss your garbage out the window as you drive away. And to those of you who have a nice little picnic and then walk away leaving ur left overs and gabage. How ignorant can you be? There are garbage cans every 20 feet. Waste is an afterthought in this culture. Many don’t or won’t think about what happens to all the packaging after they finish using their purchase. OP is right, it’s just laziness and ignorance. I really don’t have any answers other than maybe setting up cameras and shaming them.
Like Reg, I don’t have an answer to fix the issue, we can all just do our own bit and take our garbage home and dispose of it correctly. Certain people just don’t care and very little can be done to rectify it.
I live close to and use the rails to trails and am constantly disgusted at the amount of garbage tossed from vehicles, also the ones who leave dog crap, but that’s another issue.

Some of us are better than others. People call it “culture” or “laziness” but the reality is that they’re just fucking stupid. Consider yourself a smidge higher up on the evolutionary ladder. Congratulations.

Garbage left in public places, doggie doo left hanging from a tree, or on the ground etc. Truly some telltale ‘signs’ of those types. Seems to be beyond intelligence, or social norms. I’ve seen smart and stupid folks do this, as well as rich and
poor etc. Perhaps has more to do with self respect and full out laziness. Self entitled – yes they are certainly that, but respectful to others or themselves – nope. After all in their world ‘other people’ were created to clean up after them, right?? In other words – they just do not give a damn. Wastes of air they are as they progress through life, and amongst others. And they are everywhere it seems.
I know people littler but a lot of the time it’s the crows who take stuff out of the garbage and redistribute it.
