That is EXACTLY why I don’t go to shows in Halifax anymore. When a show is advertised for 10, I expect it to start by at the latest 11 – usually it’s not til 12 or 12:30. Fuck that. I work for a living, and I can’t always stay up that late. Expecially since I don’t drink a lot and I’m not about to sit there and chug booze til the fucking bar decides to get off its lazy ass and give me what I paid for. Fuck you, Halifax bars – you lost my money.
The opening band started just after 8 and wilco started just after 9 and the show was over by 11pm. How about you ask people who are actually working the show what times things are going on instead of listening to rumours and making shit up. If you are too stupid to ask someone, then you deserve to lose your money
