I hate living in this city! Sadly a lot of drivers just don’t get it.
Posted speed limits are ignored, nobody stops at stop signs,
same for yield/merge signs. Tailgaters are the norm, not the exception. Why do people who drive BMW, Audi, Lexus and other high priced cars think they have the right to do 90
kph in a 50 kph zone? I have come to the conclusion many
Haligonians behind the wheel of their car, SUV or over sized
pick-up truck are just plain arrogant. Walking, riding a bike or motorcycle in this city is downright dangerous. Your speeding, dangerous actions tell me that the best part of you
dribbled down your daddy’s leg. Fuck off the lot of you! —IDRIVETHELIMIT

You’re right, it happens no where else.
Ignoring posted signs are the Driver’s way of standing up to The Man. Also, I agree with Nukka. Try driving in any major city.
If you don’t like it just fucking leave; no one is holding a gun to your head
Danimal; I can think of a few people; whose heads I’d like to; hold a gun to. ;
the speed limits are so damn slow. try driving 50 anywhere in this town, it feels like you are crawling along.
The higher the price of a car, the better the attitude and driving experience they seem to posess.
I agree with some of this.
Sorry op, tailgating is very common in a city because cars are in lines and frequently held up by lights, pedestrians and stop signs (that yes, most people DO stop at) I’m not sure what sort of rural background you have but in a city, it’s common for cars to be gridlocked for short periods of time at least.
Otherwise yeah. I agree with the rest of this.
I walk or take the bus so I can’t really complain about driving habits, just the amount of traffic in certain areas that goes to a sail pace sucks at times, however it seems every OB who posts a driving bitch on here must be the only driver that never does anything wrong, and since their are so many perfect drivers maybe they should compare notes and offer classes.
Actually I’ve always thought people drove kinda slow around here, and others from out of town have said the same. People do love to tailgate though.
We’ve all seen worse elsewhere, but it’s still frustrating. Join us and quit driving, it’s bliss!
