Goddamn you once again, HRM Crosswalk Authority. Why is the button for the crosswalk on South Park and Clyde so far from the sidewalk? There’s ten feet of icy mush between the button and the sidewalk. And today I slipped and fell while traversing it. It was terribly embarrassing, and I hurt my hand. Put the button closer. Or maybe invest in a handful of salt. Fuck.

While I agree that the positioning of some crosswalk buttonns make no sense whatsoever, it is winter. So, be careful where you walk.
I was crossing lacewood by the sobeys going towards the terminal yesterday and I couldn’t even get NEAR the button. Thankfully the hand’ll light up when the light turns green anyway, because no one would ever be able to cross [legally] with the button that fucking far away.
…and don’t even get me started on BLIP.
