I went to the market this morning and they were out of carrots. WHAT??? Who runs out of carrots?

yes op, there is a world wide carrot shortage. i have filled my bunker with them and when the zombies attack…well then i’ll have lots of carrots^^^
OP is one of those who has never worked retail in their lives….I can’t stand it. People just expect things to be there when they go to the store. Sometimes a store will order a bunch of something, and they get none! It’s definitely not the stores fault. Maybe the truck with the shipment got into an accident or maybe there is a shortage. Carrots grow in the ground…they’re not just made out of thin air. GAWD I’m so glad I don’t work retail anymore.
Maybe carrots were on sale. I have noticed that in Halifax most things that go on sale sell out quickly.
