Ladies, if you don’t yet have a menstrual cup and are still carrying on with pads and tampons, let me just tell you that you are missing out!! I’ve been using mine for over a year now and could not be happier and will never go back. It is so convenient and comfortable and you never get that horrible smell that comes with wearing a pad. It’s actually easy to forget you even have your period…just make sure you empty the cup before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning! YAHOOOOOO! Menstrual cups are awesome…I just wanted you to know! —Diva Forever

  1. When I first read the title, I thought it was a pet-name like “Honey Bunch” or “Sugar Bear”. A very strange one at that.

    They have cups for that?

  2. what if your menstrual cup runith over? You’d need the new pope on a rope for the clean up.

  3. The Father, the Son, and the Bloody Mess on your sheets.

Kinda ew, but I understand wanting to exert some control over your curse- I mean, your period.
Some people find a cup of blood a bit ew, but keep rocking the cup, OL.

  4. Reg, I swear you just made me spew my coffee across the room hahaha! If you aren’t a comedian, you should be!

  5. you are SO lucky.. I tried the cup and the pain in my abdomen was so bad, i could barely walk after a couple of hours. So at first, right? I thought i was putting it in wrong. But then when i talked to my doctor about it, she said that it was probably not that at all. She said that it was probably 50/50 natural discomfort and being gynecologically claustrophobic (which i am) which made it seem a lot more uncomfortable than it probably was.

    I’ve never touched tampons.

My methods are ok for me. But thanks op for the good suggestion. Maybe someday i’ll try again.

When stores first started advertsing K-cups – I thought they were talkin about menstrual cups. I’d rather a balled up wad of TP in my draws than walk around with a cup of blood up the cooch. Imagine If it ever slid out, you would have a serious issue on your hands

  7. gotta say I agree with the OP on this one
I also use a menstrual cup and have for years…it took a few cycles to get the hang of it, but it really changed my whole attitude towards my period after I perfected the art of proper insertion.
Hey eats crayons — if you decide to try again, it’s very possible that the pain you were feeling when you tried it was due to the fact that the cup did not pop open because it was not positioned over your cervix properly. I highly recommend going to http://www.beautifulcervix.com to learn more about the cervix, what it looks like, then you know what you’re feeling for when you’re inserting the cup. Once you know what you’re feeling for, it’s very easy to literally push the cup up over the cervix and boom you’re done! It’ll pop open right away. cheers to the cup!

  8. Another love for the menstrual cup here! The other day I forgot I had my period so thoroughly I wore a white skirt out. Unprecedented lack of period paranoia.
All the people ewwing need to stop being so grossed out by their own bodies.
