Tim works really hard at moderating the board and he can do what he wants – no complaints there. My concern is more related to commenters in general on this website – I just worry sometimes we’re alienating people who might actually want to post about genuine concerns, etc. Then again, this is the Bitch section, so….who cares.

2. Regular posters come in and start either validating/chastising the OP.

Kay, sex and gender are two different things. Sex is biologically determined and gender is socially constructed. Presentation of a gender, whether it is one prescribed by society or chosen by the individual does not make their lifestyle one of enhanced sexuality. You present your gender everyday just as transsexuals present theirs, you choose to do things to make yourself fit your gender role better. Obviously they have to work harder for it as they were not born into the gender they wish to be. But why does this seem to bother you?
