flew out to vancouver for a week… and arrived the day after their transit strike started.
Gotta say, I didn’t get to see a whole lot of the city…
but the parts around the hotel, well I knew them pretty damn well after that suck-taculous week.

How is the strike going? I fly into halifax at 2am on Sunday morning… In beijing now.
and yeah.. i can afford to cab it for a few days but it bugs me to have to pay for one after a long trip where i DID spend a little more than i had planned to. I’m not the best negotiator in the world.
I’d like to come home to a completed strike but at least I don’t have the expense of a bus pass this month. Given all the treking i’ve been doing, i might just walk to work for awhile. Can’t hurt..
