While I would LOVE to mention the name of the bank I’m bitching about, I’ll play nice. But you know who you are.
You just lost my business, you fucking idiots. I make enough money for you to call me 50 times a day and for you to throw high-interest credit cards at me, but not enough to allow a nice low interest line of credit. Why??? Cause you don’t make as much interest. Well guess what fuckers?? You just lost ALL my business now….RRSP, 2 accounts and 2 credit cards. Take your bank and shove it up your ass. Student loans?? No problem. Approved for a brand new car?? No problem. Gold fucking credit cards?? No problem. A piss ass little line of credit?? “You don’t meet our credit approval at this time”. FUCK Y’ALL. Think I won’t do it cause its a hassle?? Not a chance. I’ll give my interest any other bank but YOURS.
Greedy fuckers. Hope you all rot in hell.

Don’t play nice becuase we love the way you bitch. Your talking about RBC, aren’t you?
It’s gotta be RBC. They did the same thing to me. Took my business to Scotiabank and they gladly gave me a loan.
I actually had the opposite problem with this bank. They threw so much credit at me it wasn’t funny and I was dumb enough to use it! Took years to dig out. I now think it was irresponsible of them to let a young student do that to himself. You may be very glad later that you didn’t get that credit line!
Ya, why is it when you’re young with no career, and no sense everyone will give you cards and loans? but when your all grown up with a career you have to beg and still get denied?
I hate to say it, lori, but banks do what you describe precisely because of what happened to Jammie. Get ’em hooked, and get ’em hooked early, before they can pay it off. More debt, more interest, more cash flowing in.If you haven’t seen it, check out the documentary “Maxed Out”. It really hammers home some important points about credit card debt. When I got my line of credit, dude told me it’s easier to get a $500,000 mortgage than $1,000 line of credit.
Yeah if you default on you mortgage, the bank has a nice juicy house to take from you. If you default on a line of credit, the bank is SOL.
They never give you any reasons either. Just a stupid form letter.Anyone else get a million of these 1-866 calls or the 1-000-000-000 or the now famous 1-123-456-7890?? It ALL fucking banks wanting you to get this and get that. I’ve had them call at 10 at night and on Sundays even. They all need to fuck off and get real jobs. I wonder how much they get paid to sit there and annoy the fuck out of a million people a day. GOD they must sleep SO well at night. I may just start hoarding my money under my mattress or in the freezer like the old days.
