    The bitcher appears to be in thrall to a generalized, non-specific hate which, epistemologically speaking, is on a par with a generalized, non-specific love. The difficulty, of course, is that in neither case do reasons have any purchase. Both cases might therefore be characterized as “conceptual slippage.”

  5. It’s been my experience that people who hate “everyone” actually hate themselves and project that self-loathing onto others. I feel an ever so slight twinge of sympathy for someone whose life is going so badly. Some psychological counselling might be in order for the OB.
