I’m sorry, lady, but if you went quietly and broke with 4 kids, you ARE a fucking doormat. You have no one to blame but yourself for letting him get away with this crap. As for the other woman, if it wasn’t her, it would have been someone else. Grow yourself a spine, woman, or you’ll remain a victim for the rest of your life.
You and your four children lost the love and support of your ex husband, he at least owes you some financial support. Your kids don’t deserve to suffer because you’re too proud to fight him for all he’s got. By letting him get away with no repercussions you’re setting a bad example for your children; showing them that it’s okay to let people walk all over you and that it’s okay for someone to totally abandon all responsibilities. Do NOT let him get away with it!
Kate is absolutely right on. You are teaching your children that people don’t have to be responsible for their actions. Your ex’s balls should be hanging from your rear view mirror for what he has done to those poor innocent children.
If she had married several times, does make your 4 children young adults? Is it his fault that you make nothing now? Not defending him, just asking.
