I looked up the word “Moron-Of-Idiotic-Stupidity” in the dictionary today and I found the meaning: The moron that sped past me and my newborn baby on the walk home from the mail, splashing a ton of slush all over me. You make me want to do what the guy on the news did and cover your ugly van with snow with a snowblower. But I would add my own touch and then pour water over it until it turns to ice. Moron. —A freezing cold mother

Ok, while I agree in principal with your bitch – asshole driver, slushy night, etc, etc… this is a pretty nonsensical bitch.
Honestly, he could have slowed down – but it was a slushy night, you were bound to get splashed. Did you consider maybe going to the mail in the morning when it had cleared up a bit?
And what’s with the weird imagined retaliation? Water on van? Um, yippeeding.
Yeah learn some physics too while you’re looking stuff up … slush/any water on the road will make puddles, cars driving over these puddles will splash/displace the water even if they go the speed limit or slower! You should get a “I HAVE A CHILD” sign or something. If you mass produced them, you’d make a killing! There is no short supply of mothers who expect special treatment because they don’t use birth control.
It’s morning and the roads are still full of slush. I can’t not go for a walk because of what’s on the road… It’s winter. And there were several cars that passed me without soaking me, it was just the van who went fast by me, causing the slush to lift and get tossed on me.
-A freezing cold mother
Lets be honest – there are twats out there who will deliberately do this. I’ve seen the speed-up, the last minute swerve, the Red Baronesque glee on the driver’s face. Throwing the bird at his rapidly disappearing rearview mirror is poor compensation and there’s rarely a rock or bottle handy when you really need one.
completely agree.
This is why we need pedways and tunnels connecting the whole town! Let’s start mad-scientist-grade engineering now!
ah the day will come, when someone decides to make a little gadget, that kills the motor of a vehicle offender.something along the line of a disrurpter type of thing, that causes motor to stall and completely stop going. til a mechanic looks at it, and tell them that it will cost a grand to fix.
ah yes, wish i had the know how myself, i would be a zillionaire.
you’re right LS, and that time was 2 weeks ago
http://xmb.stuffucanuse.com/xmb/viewthread…
REPORTING THEIR LICENSE PLATE IS AN OPTION YOU KNOW – 490-5020 – IT’S CALLED DANGEROUS DRIVING (oops sorry for all caps guys, I’m just taking a quick break at work)
Cool gadget LIFESUCKS. As for the OP, the weather was less than ideal last night…..snow, rain, ice pellets….a mix of everything. What was in the mail that was so important? Was it an alimony check or welfare?
LMFAO. Please tell me you’re saving all of these and are going to put them out in a collection. I’m good for a baker’s dozen for next Christmas; and I want them autographed.
very cool rig z3, and about time they got it on the roads. think of all the damage it will stop to a stolen car, instead of being rammed or chased and go thru a wall or over a bank or something. ain’t technology great, for the right reasons. guy should should get a fucking nobel prize for that.
This sucks…. happened to me in the fall of 07 when I was walking my daughter one sunny morning after a night’s rain. All over both of us. I was so enraged I picked up a rock and tried to hit the car…… obviously not a rational decision and I didn’t care so much about getting wet myself….. Now that I think about, who is to say that the driver even saw the puddle- or me for that matter. In this case, with slick, slushy roads, perhaps the driver was focusing intently on driving safe as opposed to avoiding every little puddle of water.. and if so, he certainly wasn’t paying attention to shapes on the sidewalk.
As much as it sucks OP…. perhaps instead of placing the blame and target of your ire on the driver you should instead be questioning mere circumstance…. or luck… or karma… whatever.
Sebastian- I went out for the mail while there was nothing falling from the sky, it was completely clear. Its just the roads full of slush. My community doesnt get the best plow job. And it wasn’t about getting mail, and no, I’m not on welfare or waiting for a cheque. It’s just nice to bundle up the baby and go for a walk every day.
Jonnoman- I do agree about questioning other circumstances. However the thing that upset me, not as much as the baby getting wet was that this is a community with small children playing in the roads and yards in the snow. It simply isn’t safe to drive that fast when the roads aren’t clear. The van surely surpassed the limit of 50.
LS- I will be your first customer with that.
OH wow, I cannot believe some of the comments I’m reading. If I was carrying a newborn and got soaked with dirty, disgusting city slush then I would be upset too (especially if it seemed malicious).
But some of you are assuming she is on welfare her baby was an accident or that she was a stupid brat and how dare she go get the mail while the weather was bad. You know what, people have the choice to go outside whenever they want and not get soaked by an asshole. I’m actually angrier about the horrible comments on this than the driver who did the dirty deed.
Some of you literally make me sick, I am pregnant now and scared to walk through my own city for fear of what people would think of me. Would people think I’m a poor, slutty moron? Would they try to splash me with water while driving by?
I find it funny how the people who bitch about other people are the ones who treat everyone else like shit stuck to their shoes. And it’s always the same people commenting on here….seriously? Get a life. Wow!
Ya socommon, but was it in the news??
First of all lady…..you did not dress for the weather nor your baby for the weather doesn’t make them at fault. So long as the driver was going the speed limit I don’t see your bitch. Drivers don’t check the depth of the puddle or slush before driving through it. You see there is slush on the road so you should have clued in to splashing. Are you new to this? Just because you had your kid in your arms doesn’t make you any smarter or the driver any dumber. DRESS FOR THE WEATHER
Well socommon, I am afraid I have no argument for you following the sad, waste of a few kilobytes comment just posted by Enough said.
So ES… where the fuck does OP state that she was under dressed to take her baby for a walk? Or that she didn’t bundle her baby up enough? Also, she clearly makes it known that she believes the driver was going above the speed limit. (which is not relative to the fact that she and her child got wet, but that he was doing so in an area “littered” with kids…. but that’s surely another bitch) Seriously, I know myself and some of the other bitchers come out with a few ridiculous and assumptive comments every now and then… but you are truly a back-woods, inbred redneck when it comes to posting here.
First of all, you want to comment on a bitch? Read through the other comments before assuming things. Secondly…. DON’T COMMENT ON BITCHES. Your opinions about as relative as books supporting Creationism.
OK first of all Jonnoman I don’t care what your opinion is…I just stated mine you don’t have to like it but there it is. If she and her kid was well dressed for the weather then getting slashed with some slush would not be an issue.
For you to make assumptions about me make you no better!
ALSO: does this women have a built in radar gun? Cause unless she does I don’t know how she would know what speed the person was going. I think she is just a pissed off sour women that didn’t dress for the weather and wants to shit of someone for her own donkey move…..
I am capable of forming my own opinions on a bitch without having to look at other people comments to validate them. Thanks for tuning in
^^ yer a douche.
http://blog.therisetothetop.com/wp-content…
ralmn – the feeling is mutual. I don’t agree either with alot of opinions that are posted here. Just because you don’t agree with minbe doesn’t make them any more wrong than yours.
Meh, only an asshole has an opinion without reading through the background deets. If you’re happy with your crappy misguided opinions based on false assumptions, all the power too ya. Your world of the day: ignorant. Give it a try.
Have a nice day! 😀
Ralmn explain yourself……false assumption???
I read the same bitch you did you fucking donkey.
A) IF the women and kid were dress for the weather getting splash should not have been that big of an issue. Correct?
B) OB is assuming the driver was speeding – no proof that he was or was not. Correct?
Now explain why I need to read through everyone elses comments to form my opinion on this…
I don’t think we were too far off on our comments as you said and I will quote for you stupid ass
“but it was a slushy night, you were bound to get splashed. Did you consider maybe going to the mail in the morning when it had cleared up a bit?”
huh how about that. ~again thanks for tuning in!!
I was wondering what it would take to get people to use a dictionary = p
Enough said….. is that a picture of your face you have included on your profile? Because you really do have a bird brain.
No matter WHAT a person is wearing in the middle of winter, getting wet by being splashed with water from a puddle in the freezing temperatures is going to make you much colder than you would normally be. Your assumption/accusation that the OP and her child were under-dressed only proves that you lack the ability to rationalize. For that, I do not hold you at fault… I doubt that any member of the Aves class, through evolution, have that very ability. For that I will give you a pass.
Also, the OP stated in a follow up comment that “the van SURELY surpassed the limit of 50”. Nowhere did she say “undoubtedly”, “definitely” or even “I swear on my baby’s life”…. I have been a pedestrian long enough to have a very good idea as to when a vehicle is going faster than it should be. Living in an urban community as I do, OP is likely quite correct in making the assumption that the van was exceeding the speed limit if she feels it was. JUST as I am quite sure you would have the ability to make the assumption that a traffic light has gone from red to green…. just by looking at it.
Screee, Screee, Screee, Screee. bird brain? SCREEE, SCREEE, SCREEEE!

Thanks Bird >; )
Well Socommon I just had a few thoughts for you. I’m not going to bash your choice to have a kid or whatever, but what you said made me wonder where this hate I (and a lot of others have) for procreating nowadays. Not one of my friends has the desire to ever have a child. I wondered why and I think maybe it’s just the way things are going to go. We now see teen moms absolutely everywhere, most of whom cannot afford their babies so they’re stuck with getting government help and such and also some don’t feel the need to stop “living their lives”, aka; getting drunk every weekend and just generally making bad decisions because they haven’t even grown up themselves. I guess it just makes people like me bitter, while I made the choice not to have children, I still have to pay for other peoples’. Oh and try not to put too much thought into what others think of you being pregnant, especially on the internet. People need to stop getting so worked up over internet comments!
Socommon- thank you!! I was surprised about the welfare comment as well. It’s pathetic.
Enough Said- How do you know what I was wearing? I am not a terrible mother. Of course my baby was bundled up as said in my previous comments. And I was as well. That didn’t stop the slush. And also as said in previous comments- the driver surpassed the speed limit by quite a bit. I don’t need a radar gun to see, it’s quite obvious when the speed limit is 50, and a van is SPEEDING by. If I had said “The van was going 67 kph”, then I would say that comment is justified.
Jonnoman- Thank you, too! And for your continuous comments. I have found them quite hilarious and accurate. Common sense. 🙂
Ralmn- Thank you, as well! You have made me laugh 🙂
Glad to be of service!

Mel’s comment makes me think of Idiocracy…
No problem jennay! Us under-dressers need to stick together you know!
jennay – I didn’t say you were a bad mother just that you and your kid weren’t dressed properly if your gonna cry about being slash by water coming fromt he road during the winter. Try snow pants and boots. If you were then being slashed wouldn’t be that much of an issue. Bottom line!
Jonnoman – can’t say that your comment suprises me….but then again look at your profile pic. hahahahahahahaha your a fine one to talk. “pot calling the kettle black….I think so.
Slush and water do slash up even when going 50km or a bit less. So go cry a bit more and louder

There’s probably even a “New Mom” Discount, if you ask for one.
teehhee.. I can’t seem to help myself: prolly ’cause it’s a kitteh. Badass kitteh for enough said:

….and….. I rest my case.
oh, and E.S.- seeing as you seem to be a little confused, my profile pic is not an ACTUAL photograph of me. It does, however, bear an uncanny resemblance.
^^^ Your profile pic is actually quite disturbing. :-|
es- You can’t really comment on what my son was wearing if you didn’t see. He was indeed wearing a snow suit, and a hat and a sweater under that and little baby boots.. And you’re still dead wrong, it still pissed me off. Accept it. That’s the reason I posted something. If you had a newborn baby, and I took a handful of slushy dirty snow, and threw it at him, I’m sure you wouldn’t be happy even if he was dressed in the most protected outfit ever made. That’s the bottom line. And I didn’t comment on the speed of the vehicle because of the amount of slush splashed at myself or my son, I made the conclusion based on the SPEED he appeared to be going. My other point was in this community with roads that are less than ideal, with children playing all over the place, no body should be going as fast as that person was. I bet you wouldn’t be making all of these ignorant (and yes I mean the dictionary definition of uneducated) remarks if you heard that same van slid off the road because of how fast he was going. Because THAT is likely to happen if you’re going fast on a slippery road. FYI, slush is just what is the top layer is. In these freezing weather, there is also ice every where.
HAHA your still a cry baby…boohoo you got wet. Shit happens everyday and being splashed with slush should be the least of your worries. Cause I am SURE the driver ment to splash you and your kid.
IF I did have a new born I wouldn’t be outside walking them when the roads are the shits I have more commen sense then that. No one threw slush in your kids face so stop being to dramatic. Good lord
Hey Enough said…. I’m polymerized tree sap and you’re an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns to its original trajectory and adheres to you.
Well I do like that saying, indeed ^^
That was PROBABLY the hottest thing I’ve ever read on this site.
*swoon*
Also: WHAT. THE. FUCK. There are actually people in this world that would call a mother of a newborn baby a “cry baby” when her child gets hit with dirty, cold, wet, slush?
ES, you are a c^nt.
Dear OB-
Bummer. I’ve been splashed like that in my travels. I’ve seen people swerve(safely) to avoid the “obvious puddles”, where you just know you’re getting drenched. Once or twice I was splashed and the driver made sure I was okay and they apologized. Most likely, they didn’t see you guys, though speeding through there on a day with crap conditions, if there were other kids playing nearby, was poor form.
When I drive in the winter I try to pay attention to big roadside puddles that might soak someone, but if it’s the choice between a soaking and an accident- you know where I’m going with this. 🙂
I’m sorry there has been a kind of “anti mother” turn here in some posts.
I chalk it up to Internet Toughguy Syndrome partially, and the fact some people like to read their own online persona say stupid shit.
WP
Pretty Kitty- Awe, thanks.. flattery haha
Wheel- thank you, i think that is exactly it. It probably was an accident but i was annoyed at the time (obviously.)
I don’t know what it is with anti-mothers. I was shocked. Everyone assumes that just because I decided to not be lazy and go for a walk, instead of driving to the mail box (which I consider laziness when I can see the mailbox from my house) – they think I am a teen-mother on welfare who doesn’t use birth control, and is poor as can be. Hmm. Interesting concept I simply can’t wrap my mind around.
It’s easy to fill in an agenda-picture of who you are when you’re reduced to just words on a website, and filtered through someone with a stick up their butt. Sucks, but not worth taking personally. Your bitch was perfectly reasonable.
Brohim……. I’m glad you’re back.
