To an announcer on the 90.5 radio station. A little while you and a girl were talking on the radio about hurricane Katrina and how many people it killed and effected. Now thats fine it did, but what wasn’t o.k. was when you(being the man) said as follows”well a lot of the people who died were Drug Dealers so…”. NOW THATS NOT O.K., HOW CAN YOU SAY SHIT LIKE THAT LIKE SERIOUSLY. THERE STILL FUCKING HUMANS AND THEY STILL DESERVE TO LIVE NO MATTER WHAT THE HELL THEY DECIDED TO DO TO EARN MONEY!!. LIKE HOW FUCKING IGNORANT DO YOU HAVE TO BE!?!? THAT’S LIKE SAYING JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE LIVES OUT ON THE STREETS THEY MINE AS WELL DIE! LIKE!??!!? THATS JUST NOT FAIR DUDE. Seriously though that was not cool….I’m still mad about this.

The only people who i feel bad for that died during hurricane Katrina were the children, the hospital patients that couldnt leave life support, and the metally handicap people. Everyone else had fair warning, and no excuse to evacuate!!!!

Now actual facts about the professions of those that perished aside What about all the people that the dealers sold drugs THAT DIED or had their lives ruined thanks to these dealers and drugs. Yep , everyone makes their own choices do drugs or not, sell or not. The information is out there and both paths are well beaten to the end. In fact, most of the people who did not evacuate could not. Yes, they were warned, but what do you do when you’re dead broke and don’t have a car? Ask your neighbour that’s in the same situation? Bloody hell.

No a lot of the people who died were black americans who also happened to be poor. Louisiana happens to be in the most racist part the USA, therefore, instead of using the busses to evacuate the people who didn’t have the means to evacuate themselves they let massive amounts of people die. I don’t believe for a second most of them were drug dealers, most of them were just poor black folk trying to live their lives.
And the kicker IS instead of using the busses and getting people out not only did people die, but the busses ended up destroyed underwater. Hey dipshits: if you had’ve used the busses to evacuate people less people would’ve died and your precious busses would still be in tact.
…although I’m not exactly convinced the Bush administration was particularly sad a bunch of poor black people died.
You can complain to the CRTC. I’ve done it before. You have to have the date and time and they can listen to it and then do whatever it is they do to lame shit like that.

no, noone should HAVE to die, we should all live forever, there should be NO consequences for any action. And while I will agree that noone who goes down the wrong path should be immediately taken out and publicly hung or anything, their bad choices have consequences for which they are ultimately responsible. I think what’s more to the point is that the radio announcer okayed the deaths to the child because there were a lot of drug dealers killed. This is not acceptable because he has no idea how many of the people killed were actually drug dealers, or if any of them were, he ASSUMED that there were lots of drug dealers killed because they were poor black people. This is the problem. He is spreading ignorance, and stereotypes, and this child is now going to associate black people being killed with drug dealers being killed, which would be ok to her.
