I didn’t know Muslim’s celebrated Christmas
Thanks for making me work on the 24th and 25th because you HAD to have that day off. Why? You’re Muslim! You don’t even celebrate xmas. Meanwhile I have to miss out on Christmas celebrations and I’m an effing Christian! Hope you have fun celebrating MY

FWIW, Muslims are “people of the book,” so they at least appreciate the celebration of Christmas, even though it’s not a holy day for them. But really, the holiday is so secularized that every one takes part in it. It’s like New Year’s Eve in that regard, or I guess more to the point, Halloween.
Ya I celebrate it with my gf and her family. It’s out of respect and appreciation. We believe in all 3 religions and their profits.
Quit your job then…simple as that! Muslim’s are allowed to celebrate Christmas and it is a holiday for everyone…not just you. For family to get together and enjoy ones company. People have to stop thinking they know everything about peoples lives.

Should have been thinking ahead to request those days off in advance
They live in a country, which despite it’s faults, allows this kind of equality. We should be proud of it.Also, take solace in the fact that if they are not native Canadians, their new country is probably 20 degrees colder than their homeland! LOL Finally a white Christmas.
Plenty of Muslims have Christian famiy members. I know Muslims who have Hindu and even Jewish family members; some Muslims also barely practise their religion, but they just like the excuse for time off. Muslims are not a singular entity seperate from “Us Christians”. Also if you are a devout Christian then maybe you can point me to rule in the Bible where it says you have to get time off for Christmas. For that matter, point to a rule in the Bible where it says you should celebrate Christmas in the first place.(And Jesus spoke unto us: ‘Thou shalt take time off thine job to celebrate My Birthday, unless thine employer won’t allow thee, then thou shalt demand double time and a half per hour or quarter parts thereof!’, And we were joyous.”)
