I’ll take free over nothing, and I get a lack of community input when the City is planning events like free concerts because theres scheduling, funding, public sentiment etc. But isn’t there a conflict of interest in our city event planner’s repeatedly booking their own friends for this stuff? Not to mention acts they have “forever” “managed”? If you’re going to inappropriately take advantage of your position at least do it with music thats good. Or at least ok. —Water cooler debate team
