I pay my property taxes. I angrily, but dutifully pay occasional parking tickets that my wife and I are issued. I even paid for a residential parking pass on my street. I also see the point behind the winter parking ban. However, I left my car on the street last night. There was no storm in the forecast. There was no precipitation whatsoever. Heck, all seemed so obvious that I went to bed without checking the ONLY place the ban status seems to be– the HRM site. So the ban was supposed to be for snow removal? There was NO CREW on my street last night! You fucking greasers! To the parking or police officer who did not use discretion and go by the spirit of this fucking regulation as opposed to the GD letter! That’s so FUCKING GREASY! HRM–is this a money grab or make work project? And to those issuing the tickets. If you can’t use discretion, you deserve to be fired. You want a little respect? Start by respecting us who are paying your fucking salaries. Fuck off already. Ohh Please HRM, disregard the gripes from the very select few who can’t be bothered to check a website, and don’t bring back the blanket parking ban! You need to be more vigilant if you “occasionally” get parking tickets. It should be a rare occurance.

I agree dump the website and make the ban everyday from november 1st till april 31st. then you wouldn’t be wondering if it was on or not.
