WTF is up with a woman in day-glo overalls driving an HRM pick up truck from telephone pole to telephone pole taking down concert posters? I mean, it’s bad enough we have someone on the payroll whose job this is, but seriously? DRIVING from one pole to the next… not parking somewhere and walking a few blocks to do the job, she DRIVES, gets out (leaves the truck running), rips posters off, gets back in and drives to next pole. everyoe has been complaining about people not wanting to work, and suck us dry on welfare. maybe this is a good thing? maybe she was caught cheating and this is her punishment, but likely not. she is probly one of the many wives or girl friends of someone at city hall, and they gave her this pretty cool job. and you gotta admit cranky she probly has a nice ass. haven’t seen her yet, but will be on lookout.

Concert poster remover is a difficult and under-valued occupation. First off, there’s those day-glo overalls then you have to drive up to each and every pole, get out of the truck,rip off the poster (risking injury via unremoved staples from previous posters) turn around and then get back into the truck, put the truck in gear and move to the next pole.
I applied for the position a few years back but they put it bluntly “Mr. Formosus, I really don’t think you have what it takes to do this job”. Well, I was heartbroken but, in hindsight, I do believe I appreciated the honesty.

what a gross fucking display of wasted resources. Like the manniquen graveyard “art display” isn’t enough. If you’re so worried about the aesthetics of our city, get some workers out picking up some of the fucking garbage that’s everywhere since the snow has melted. Get a fucking life city hall and put our tax dollars towards something worthwhile.
