HRM has decided to kick Conrose baseball off of their bantam field this year so they can build a speed skating oval on it. A speed skating oval! Why would you do that? There are so many other locations. This is pathetic.—Angry Conrose Volunteer

yeah, they are taking away something that only really get used, when someone bitches and whines about it. then for 9 months or so, nothing. give us a fucking break fool. and cry someplace else.

So go find a schoolyard to play, its hard to take you serious, when you don’t even have 2 TEAMS TO PLAY AN ACTUAL GAME !
Someone once told me skating is good exercise, so seeing as there already are a bunch of ball feilds on the commons for real teams of 9 or more players, lets give the skaters a break.
Oh no! Not the children! Save the children! I see so many baseball diamonds standing empty all summer long that I don’t think the children are all going to fall down and become obese because one diamond is turned into something new and interesting for the city. Get a grip, it’s about “sports diversity”!
it might have something to do with the common wealth games. i like watching them play cricket on the commons…still haven’t quite got the gist of that game

Sounds like the same bureaucraps who shut down the best beaches on Lake Banook last summer just so they could have their stupid canoe races for jerks. A certain HRM apparatchik whose name sounds kinda like Deiter Gigolo should have stayed in Truro and been a hairdresser.
