Well apparently at least a year. The one and only fountain in the Public Gardens has been broken for a year or there-abouts. What does it take to get something as simple as this fixed? Why aren’t there a few more fountains in the Gardens?

I dunno about anyone else…but even if the damn thing was working, I still wouldn’t touch it with a ten-footer. Just wayyyyyyy too many skeezes in this city to do that.
Aren’t there at least 2 fountains in the Gardens? The one by SGR in the stone wall thing and the one by the duck pond? I also wouldn’t drink from then either.
Street widening and sewer stuff > a pretty fountain.
bring a bottle of water with you
HRM is too busy NOT fixing the 2 bridges my road that have been out since winter.
Outdoor public dinking fountain? I didn’t even know there were such things. I think I’d rather die of thirst than drink from one.
Maybe if we rally everyone together to each toss a penny in and collectively wish for a fixed fountain…
Cause I don’t know about you guys but I drink out the the decorative fountains… LOL *collectively wish for a fixed drinking fountain* I meant.
wanna talk about neefing up you immune system….
drink from a public fountain one or two times.
you should shrug off pestilence at that point.

ancient technology. instead of a fountain…they could install a gusher fountain and pump the water and floatables from the harbour into it and have it spray all over the public gardens. everything gets watered and fertilized in one.
