On the subject of busses and lack there of, how about running a bus out to Exhibition Park. I have never seen such a grossly under bussed city in my life. Here is a spot where there is an event every weekend and I see people walking and hitch hiking there way up there all the time. What a loser city this is.
Wouldn’t exhibition park area be a good spot for a link? What do you think? Can you imagine the traffic that could be avoided by all of us who live down Prospect Rd. I would love to hop on a link there to save on parking and sitting in traffic. Oh no the half wits would rather widen Chebucto road then God forbid cut down on traffic the easy way

Well then how about an express link that goes from directly from my house to my place of business and home again at the exact times I want to go every weekday and to the beach on weekends… And with no attitude from the driver…Oh wait they do have that… Its called a CAR…

All trolling and swearing aside, I have a feeling that something may end up there in the long term. The city has been looking at putting their satellite garage in Ragged Lake, which is just down the road from Exhibition Park. If this indeed comes to fruition, a bus to Exhibition Park may not be far behind. It is the city though so I’m not holding my breath.

If Tantallon and Timberlea can have transit, why not the Prospect Road??? They’re throwing up subdivisions out there faster than you can say ‘lightenthefuckupAlison’.
Having grown up in that area (White’s lake, w00t!), I can say that the residents have been asking for transit for a long time now. I was at a public meeting 12 years ago where this was brought up. The city’s response at the time was that the money and the demand weren’t there (remember, this was transit-lean 1996). It would make more sense now to just put a bus out to Exhibition Park or near the Irving, especially if the new garage ends up in Ragged Lake.I’m pulling for you. We’re all in this together.
