Okay so here is my issue. Recently I became single, we all work for the same company and now he is with you. I come into work everyday with my head held high, smiling, and trying to get on with my job while you my dear make snide rude comments, give me nasty dirty looks and text him all damn day (which we are not allowed to be doing on the job site).. so anyway I realized that when he dumped me for you and know your past history with umm legal issues and other “issues” that I am too damn good for him and if he wants to slum it with you then he isn’t worth getting upset over. I like and enjoy my job but you are making it very hostile and high schoolish. I don’t want to take this to the boss as its all so damn immature what you are doing as if anyone has the right to be nasty and rude it’s me so why are you doing it? You got him and can have him my dear so grow the damn hell up and enjoy him while you can as in a month or so you’ll be me and dumped for someone else. —The Adult

New GF’s treatment of Old GF is impacting on the work environment. Depending on how bad it is, one can either take it up with HR and throw yourself on the mercy and kindness of others; or, you can take control of the situation yourself, make yourself indispensible to the bosses, get onto a project or three and get your part done ahead of time and under budget; and walk your way into a fat promotion which may well get you outranking New GF. Working well and getting rewarded for it visibly is the best revenge.
