Perhaps it is the over 400 toxic chemicals that are killing you slowly that has damaged your ability to read or maybe you never knew how to read but the blue labelled uniforms of Housekeeping staff please hear this… the NO SMOKING in bus enclosed areas is what it says NO SMOKING… it does not say:

‘please smoke as much as you want on your breaks while those of us needing to sit in the shelter because of our disabilities cannot do that because you took all the seats while you smoked the place up’

Shame on this staff especially working at a hospital!

Shame on your for being illiterate. Shame on you for taking up bus shelter seats when people leaving the hospital more than likely need them. Shame on you for polluting the in sides of the shelters. Shame on you for being that lazy you could not stand by the ciggie stands provided for you by your employer. —mcgaidheal

  1. Shame on you for being a pussy who can’t tell them to get out if they are going to smoke. Don’t let people walk all over you.

  2. Ensuring one’s own literacy skills are perfect before trashing other’s is essential to not invalidating the point. Keep up the good work.

  3. How does spelling “invalidate” a reasonable Bitch? Is there some arbitrary line where spelling doesn’t invalidate someone’s reasonable point?

  4. Wheelip_bader Yeah. If they’re talking 😀

Take pictures, make angry posters calling out the people in the pictures and post them all around the hospital.

    I bet it will work.

  5. I-K: I live near Spring Garden. There’s a “No Smoking with 5 Meters” sign on a wall by the Lard Nelson. Sign is on the corner pf the wall. Literally 6 inches way are people smoking. When it rains I have to roll through this gross butty mess. Ugh! On non-rainy days they literally block the usuable part of te aidewalk, so I have so either go way around them or through, breathing in their smoke(I actually have a smoke allergy- not a horrible one, but I would rather not breath it, especially 6 inches from the no smoking sign).
I often think what a great photo is there of “No Smoking” with a crowd of puffers.

    Back to the Bitch.
OB wasn’t complaining about someone’s spelling, so the “gotcha” factor was minimal, if at all for the 2 pretty dumb spelling mistakes. No biggie.
I agree with taking a photo an putting it up in the lunchroom. I’ve had some dealings with hospitals. I know they’re just mere mortals, and so smoke and eat bad food, like the rest of us, but hospital staff shouldn’t be smoking in a bus shelter. When I take the bus, and I see someone smoking in it, I don’t go in, even when it’s raining.

  6. Oh Fuck she’s back – her and TJ should get together and write a book about how the police have repeatedly fucked them over.

  7. First of all, anyone that smokes at a bus stop is the biggest piece of shit in the world. The stop I have to wait at by my work always has at least one person smoking at it. I hate when I’m there first, then they come along and stand next to me then light up. I scoff and angrily walk away where the wind won’t carry their fumes to me. ALSO how come they don’t understand anything about wind? They always stand so that their smoke will blow all over everyone waiting at the stop, not somewhere where it will blow away from everyone.

I have noticed that too Wheelie, when I walk down Spring Garden. The whole street is 5 meters away from an entrance, yet the whole thing is lined with people who stretch out and cover the entire sidewalk, getting in everyone’s way, and smoke.

I always think of a George Costanza quote when I encounter these SETs…

“YOU KNOW WE’RE LIVING IN A SOCIETY!!”

Gosh I love him more than anyone in the world.

  8. I especially dislike trying to avoid the butts with my 4 wheels. I wonder if they put a no smoking sign around that corner if it would make any difference?
    Probably not.

  9. I came about 2 feet away from being highway paint.
    Still… a good… but cold ass ride.
need to get a windscreen if I’m going on the highway… in October.

  10. I don’t think it would matter Wheelie. Smokers flock to “No smoking” signs like moths to a light. I think there should be some underground, air tight bunker-like areas which are the only places someone is allowed to smoke. I had to tape up my bathroom’s fan because my neighbor’s smoke would drift in from it. And I have to close my windows because another person smokes out of their window. It aiin’t fair. SMOKE BUNKERS. Mel for mayor :D.

  11. hey o.p., remember what i said about nons, bitching about smokers? no, well here it is again, get fucked, you have habits, well so do we. some are very hard to give up, much like you being an idiot.

  12. I agree that’s not professional or very considerate of other transit goers OP, as a non smoker I can totally empathize! But at the same time I have friends who work in hospitals, and working in them caused them to smoke, and most of the time they are way too tired off of their asses from working insane overtime shifts they can’t even remember their names let alone read signs correctly. Also, I think of if they were to ban coffee in places because its bad for you, I would go apeshit!!:)

  13. Pussy…lol……..X…that actually is amusing….

I am a person with disabilities and had I come in contact with their pollution I would have had to go back into the hospital…..there always has to be an enabler of bad behaviour and you get to wear the tiara but you have to share with LIFE SUCKS and Gordon Gekko who prolly are one of the many illiterate fecks who smokes in shelters.

Thanks to the rest for getting it….. 🙂

  14. Oceanchick, people like you are a dime a dozen so you can you stop breeding already..

A great man once said- those who are concerned only about the process do so because they lack the intelligence to comprehend the content….

  15. I thought I’d let you all know that there is a pack of smokers smoking in front if the propane tanks at the Stupid Store on Young Street.

  16. Wizard! Let’s egg ’em!
Oh Mighty Darwin, perform your goodly works and remove a host of ills from our fair borough.

  17. Was just askin’! You know, the opposite of just sayin’!

Read the dude’s comments before mine. Was just going by his/her post, pg.

  18. A great woman once said, “those who attack the character instead of the argument do so because they lack the ability to formulate intelligent discouse.” Bravo.
