To the person in a Smart car who struck
This is the absolute worst – you would have stopped if it was a human or small child – why does hitting an innocent animal make any difference at all? I knew someone who saw a dog hit by a Transit bus – the driver REFUSED to stop or call anyone at all. My friend took the dog to the vet and he made out ok. Karma is indeed a bitch and to the worthless slime of a human who did this I hope you get yours BIG TIME.I really hope Daisy is OK also.
Cruelty to animals reflects the cruelty that person would happily inflict upon any living thing. What makes you think the driver of the Smart car would have stopped if he/she had hit a child? It was just ‘something’ in the way and whether it was a dog or a child wouldn’t have made any difference to the driver. as for the bus driver…he has a name and a number, report him to police for inhumane treatment toward an animal. You can always determine who he was by rquesting the driver’s name associated with the time and route number for that date from Metro Transit. If they refuse, ask them if they would like to be the focus of a lovely piece in the media about their part in needless cruelty toward the dog.
